Hands-on, practical training
Many care training programmes are now almost exclusively digital, especially post-Covid. But alongside computer-based learning, we value direct in-person, experiential training. Many of the more nuanced aspects of care can’t be learned online, such as building close connections with clients, dealing with challenging situations, maintaining boundaries, managing complex conditions and offering individualised support.
Our training is specialised and hands-on, designed to deliver real-world skills and sustainable learning with a fun and friendly approach. Covering all key aspects of working in care from physical safety to managing your emotional wellbeing, ComfortPlus care professionals receive full access to our training and development programs, as well as the constant professional support they need to deliver care confidently and compassionately.

Ongoing Mentorship
Our supervision and support goes a step further than most, ensuring that experienced, competent and well-trained senior staff mentor newer care professionals to help them gather a sufficient foundation in both the basic and more complex aspects of care. Focusing on human interaction and cultivating a diverse range of skillsets, during training our care professionals are shadowed by a senior professional who is on-hand to provide them with valuable knowledge and insights in real time.
A regular appraisals and assessment structure is in place, but our care professionals can come to us at any time if they need to access additional support and training.
